Play it on Android now
There is a playable Android build running as a private alpha on Google Play. It is invite-only, so ask and you will be added by hand — there is no automatic sign-up, and no link that would let you in without me.
The email opens with a couple of prompts already in it. The one that matters is your Google account address — that is what an invitation is attached to, and it is often not the address people write in from.
Once you are added, the game installs and updates through the Play Store like anything else on your phone. Google caps this kind of alpha at 100 testers, so places are genuinely limited; if it is full I will say so rather than leave you waiting.
A music-career simulation. Audition for a band that has not asked for you, write songs the country reacts to on its own terms, and hold the whole thing together across years of rooms, vans, and people who have their own reasons for being there.
What you do
- You start unwanted. Audition, earn a cut rather than a wage, and earn the right to lead long after you have earned the right to play
- Forty-eight cities with their own taste in music, and their own patience for hearing from you again
- Bandmates with opinions about the work, about you, and about each other
- Choices that come back weeks later, changed by what you did — and sometimes changed by what you did not get round to
- Rooms that close, gear that breaks in particular, and a record deal that trades reach for control
- Saves sync through your own iCloud across your devices
Privacy
Garage to Glory has no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no account. Your save data stays on your device. The full details are on the privacy page.

Each build that reached anybody is written up, in the same words players see in the game. Read the release notes, or follow them by RSS — no email needed.
